On 27 April 2026, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Government of Kota Pekalongan and PT Synergy Infra Hijau at the Hotel Howard Johnson, Indonesia, marking an initiative to introduce solar-powered lighting solutions in selected public areas.

PMW International Berhad was represented at the ceremony by its CEO, Mr Lee Hon Hwa, as an invited witness, reflecting PMW’s ongoing collaboration with PT Synergy Hijau as a technology and distribution partner in Indonesia.

The ceremony was a true display of cross-sector commitment, attended by the Pekalongan City Regional Secretary, the Head of the Pekalongan Regency PUPR Service, and key heads of OPD.

The initiative focuses on deploying solar-powered LED lighting in public roads, parks and waste processing areas. This improves safety, visibility, and public comfort while introducing renewable energy into essential city infrastructure.

PT Synergy Infra Hijau is responsible for end-to-end delivery, ensuring efficient execution from supply to on site installation. PMW will support PT Synergy Infra Hijau through the supply of lighting solutions.

Following the official ceremony, we hosted a live showcase of our PMW Lighting’s PJU technology. It was a privilege to have the Regional Secretary and OPD Heads inspect our high-performance solar lighting firsthand. This demonstration provided a clear illustration of how we will optimize street lighting across the region, focusing on safety, visibility, and quality.

More than an infrastructure upgrade, this engagement provides an opportunity for stakeholders to evaluate practical applications of PMW solar-powered lighting in urban environments, while strengthening collaboration between local authorities and industry participants.
